Shredding technology specialist ARJES has acquired EuRec Environmental Technology GmbH from Merkers and founded ARJES IMPAKTOR GmbH for this purpose. The acquisition strengthens the Thuringia location in the field of environmental and recycling technology. As an operator of recycling facilities, the consolidation could have medium-term impacts on service structures and spare parts supply. The industry thus continues to show concentration trends – following several acquisitions in the shredder and screening technology segment over the past two years.
