New Zealand start-up CranePower has launched its mobile power system E-Gen. The technology is aimed at operators of battery-powered construction machinery and aerial work platforms that need to charge on construction sites without a fixed grid connection. For manufacturers like Haulotte, the system could become relevant, as mobile power supply remains a bottleneck for electric aerial work platforms. CranePower has not yet provided technical specifications or prices.
