The French Caterpillar distributor is adding telescopic handlers to its portfolio for the first time, giving Faresin access to the French market with its dense service network. For established French manufacturers like Haulotte, this means additional competitive pressure in their home market, especially since Bergerat Monnoyeur operates over 70 locations in France. The cooperation demonstrates how Cat dealers are strategically expanding their portfolios to become less dependent on construction equipment cycles.
