Kleemann from Göppingen has delivered a complete system train to Brazil. The German specialist for mobile crushing plants and screening plants there complements a mobile asphalt mixing plant from its partner Ciber. The order shows how German crushing and screening technology is gaining a foothold in growing infrastructure markets in South America.

The combination of Kleemann crushing plant, screener and mobile asphalt plant allows the Brazilian operator completely mobile asphalt production. Rock is crushed, screened and processed into asphalt on site. This saves transport routes and significantly reduces logistics costs. Especially in a large country like Brazil with sometimes inadequate infrastructure, mobile technology pays off.

Kleemann has been building mobile crushing plants for quarries, recycling and road construction for decades. The technology from Göppingen is robust, low-maintenance and designed for continuous use under difficult conditions. That's exactly what the Brazilian market needs: reliable machines that can operate even in high temperatures and dust.

Brazilian asphalt plant manufacturer Ciber relies on mobile technology to respond flexibly to construction projects. The cooperation with Kleemann expands the product portfolio and provides a complete solution from a single source. The customer gets crusher, screener and asphalt mixing plant from one cast – this simplifies maintenance, spare parts supply and machine tuning.

For Kleemann, the order could be a signal for further expansion in Latin America. Brazil is investing heavily in infrastructure, particularly roads and highways. Mobile technology is in demand because it is quickly deployable and reduces transport costs. German expertise meets a growing market with high potential for growth.

Whether Kleemann will deliver further systems to Brazil or other South American countries remains to be seen. The Wirtgen Group, to which Kleemann has belonged since 2008, already has experience in the region – such as with Joseph Vögele asphalt pavers and HAMM rollers. Synergies within the group could accelerate market entry.

The combination of German crushing and screening technology with local asphalt plants shows how specialized providers can succeed in emerging markets. Mobile technology, high availability and local partnerships are the key. Anyone who wants to supply in Brazil needs service, spare parts and technical support on site – otherwise the machines will sit idle.
