Kobelco and Engcon have developed an automatic height and tilt control function for excavators equipped with tiltrotators. The collaboration between the Japanese excavator manufacturer and the Swedish tiltrotator specialist aims to integrate machine control systems directly with rotating attachments, reducing manual adjustments during grading and levelling work. The development reflects growing demand for automation in earthmoving operations, particularly in markets where tiltrotators are widely adopted. Neither company has disclosed technical specifications, compatible excavator models, or a market introduction date for the system.
