Liebherr has modernized its spare parts logistics at its Ehingen plant with goods-to-person workstations from Jungheinrich. The system automatically brings warehouse goods to the picker and is intended to shorten delivery times for spare parts. The mobile crane manufacturer is responding to increasing demands on the spare parts supply for its construction machinery and cranes. The automation is part of the digitalization strategy across the Liebherr group.
