Liebherr has launched the LTM 1055-3.3, a 55-tonne mobile crane aimed squarely at Tadano's established models in the mid-range segment. German crane hire company Kranverleih Kunze is the first operator to take delivery. The move signals Liebherr's intent to challenge market positions in one of the most competitive weight classes for mobile cranes. For fleet managers, the new model offers an alternative in a segment traditionally dominated by Japanese manufacturers.
