Liebherr is launching the distribution of the LTM 1055-3.3 in Germany. The 55-ton mobile crane targets established Tadano models in the mid-range segment. Crane rental company Kunze was the first German operator to take delivery of a machine. The type designation 3.3 indicates the third generation with three axles. For rental companies, it will be interesting to see how Liebherr positions itself price-wise against the Japanese competitors – the segment is considered price-sensitive and highly competitive.
