Merlo presents its Radiocomando remote control for telehandlers via video. The remote control allows operation of the machine from a safe distance – important for tight construction sites or critical lifting areas. The machine operator retains full access to all functions. Merlo does not disclose which models the technology is available for or whether retrofitting is possible. The technology fits into the trend toward greater automation and safety systems in construction machinery.
