Putzmeister has acquired truck mixer manufacturer Intermix and is thereby expanding its offering in concrete logistics. The German concrete pump specialist can now offer complete systems for transport, mixing and pumping of concrete from a single source. The acquisition fits into the consolidation wave in the construction machinery industry, in which manufacturers expand their system expertise through targeted acquisitions.
