Volvo Construction Equipment has introduced the EC950, the largest high-reach excavator in its own portfolio. The machine is designed for heavy demolition work and positions itself in competition with established manufacturers such as Caterpillar and Liebherr in the segment above 90 tons operating weight. Volvo CE is responding to the demand for larger demolition machines in the high-rise construction segment. Technical details regarding engine power, reach, and operating weight are not yet available.
