Wirtgen Group is launching six market premières at bauma China 2026 in Shanghai from 24 to 27 November 2026. The group's booth E1.510.110 will showcase new machines across its Wirtgen, Vögele, Hamm, and Kleemann brands under the motto "Do more with less," with one third of all exhibits being China market premières. Visitors can register on-site for an exclusive recycling event at Wirtgen China's customer training centre in Taicang.

Vögele introduces flagship paver and material feeder for Chinese market

Vögele is bringing two machines to China for the first time: the SUPER 3000-3i tracked asphalt paver and the MT 3000-3 Li material feeder. The SUPER 3000-3i is the flagship of the Vögele paver range, offering a paving width of up to 18 m and a paving capacity of 1,800 t/h. The machine features an innovative material transport system in which the conveyor chain and distribution auger can be adjusted together in height, enabling the SUPER 3000-3i to pave thin surface layers as well as thick frost-protection layers up to 50 cm without difficulty.

The MT 3000-3 Li material feeder complements the flagship paver. According to Wirtgen Group, it combines reliable technology with high operator comfort, making uninterrupted and bump-free material transfer to the paver even easier. Both machines are designed to handle high-volume road construction projects typical of Chinese highway and urban infrastructure expansion.

Hamm launches HD tandem roller series with oscillation variants

Compaction specialist Hamm is presenting the new HD 138 – HD 148 series of tandem rollers for the Chinese market. In both weight classes, models with two vibration drums and models with vibration and oscillation drums are available. All machines are equipped with the Hammtronic machine management system, which provides benefits in engine performance, compaction performance and operator comfort.

Hamm is highlighting the HD 138 VO as a versatile model that achieves particularly fast and material-protective compaction gain thanks to the combination of vibration and oscillation. Specifically for customers from Southeast Asia, Hamm is also presenting the 20-tonne HC 200 G roller for the first time, which achieves a compaction force of up to 331 kN.

Another première is the HC 268i VC roller. The "VC" stands for Vibration Crusher. This roller will be presented on the booth as a production system in combination with the Wirtgen Rock Crusher WRC 240i for earthmoving and recycling applications. The special feature: the VC roller performs two jobs with one machine — crushing and compacting material. For this purpose, the roller is equipped with a special drum with 126 tool holders that can be fitted with corresponding chisels via an interchangeable system.

Wirtgen presents W 215 P cold milling machine and WRC 240i rock crusher

Wirtgen is introducing the W 215 P, a new large cold milling machine with a milling width of 2,000 mm and a maximum milling depth of 330 mm. The integrated machine control system MILL ASSIST ensures an optimal balance between performance and cost in automatic mode. The choice between three different working strategies optimises the process in terms of cost, performance and quality.

The Rock Crusher WRC 240i is also a market première. It is used in "white-to-black" road rehabilitation, a common and widespread solution in Chinese cities and on rural motorways. The WRC 240i can crush concrete or cement-stabilised base layers directly on site, preparing them for reuse as base material for new asphalt layers — a practical implementation of on-site recycling that saves transport costs and reduces material waste.

Digital platform WGInsight 2.0 targets Chinese fleet management

A focus area at the booth is the Tech Zone, where visitors gain insights into the digital solutions from Wirtgen, Vögele, Hamm and Kleemann, as well as application technologies for material processing. Wirtgen Group is presenting WGInsight, a digital platform developed specifically for the Chinese market for remote machine management, including integrated real-time monitoring, safety management and coordination of maintenance measures.

With the latest upgrade to WGInsight 2.0, the platform offers new functions such as work logs, usage reports, maintenance cost management and multi-dimensional data analysis. Users can thus keep an even better eye on their machine management and operating costs in order to continuously optimise them. The solution will be demonstrated in a practical way at the booth, supporting the group's digitalisation strategy for the Asian market.

Exclusive recycling event runs parallel to trade fair

Wirtgen China is hosting an exclusive visitor event at its East China regional centre in Taicang, parallel to the trade fair. Visitors can register for the event at the group's booth. The programme includes a comprehensive presentation of Wirtgen recycling machines, including the market première of the Ciber asphalt mixing plant iNova 2000. The programme also includes technology presentations and technical lectures on various recycling applications. Wirtgen Group experts will be available for personal dialogue to answer questions and present the machines in small groups.

The recycling event underscores the group's strategic focus on circular-economy solutions for road construction — a segment where Chinese authorities are pushing contractors to increase the recycled-content share in new infrastructure projects. The iNova 2000 asphalt plant première at the Taicang event complements the on-site crushing and compaction solutions shown at the main booth, offering a complete view of the group's approach to sustainable road construction workflows.
