Wolffkran has unveiled the WOLFF 550 B, a new luffing jib tower crane aimed at urban construction sites. The Heilbronn-based manufacturer positions the model between existing product lines, targeting projects with tight space constraints. Luffing jibs allow operation closer to building edges and neighbouring structures compared to saddle jibs. Technical specifications and pricing have not yet been disclosed. The launch suggests Wolffkran is responding to increased demand for compact crane solutions in dense city centres.
