XCMG (Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group) is the world's third-largest construction equipment manufacturer and the largest from China. Founded in 1943, the company based in Xuzhou (Jiangsu Province) produces mobile cranes, crawler cranes, wheel loaders, excavators, graders, rollers, and tower cranes. With over 100,000 employees and annual revenues of approximately USD 20 billion, XCMG is a global player.
Technologically, XCMG has made significant progress in recent years: the XCA1600, with 1,600 metric tons of lifting capacity, is the world's most powerful mobile crane (7-axle chassis). Electric construction equipment (XE215E electric excavator, ZL50GN-EV electric wheel loader) and autonomous machines (driverless dump truck for mining) are current focus areas. The XDE400 is a 400-metric-ton electric dump truck for surface mining.
In Europe, XCMG is gaining market share through aggressive pricing combined with increasingly competitive quality. Service networks are being established through own branch offices and dealer partners. For European construction contractors, XCMG machines represent a serious alternative to established manufacturers — particularly in price segments where Liebherr, Cat, and Komatsu demand premium markups.
