The move reflects growing UK demand for mini cranes capable of accessing confined urban sites and indoor applications. Maeda's spider cranes typically feature working radii up to 20 metres and capacities between 1 and 6 tonnes, competing with European manufacturers including Jekko and Hoeflon. The Japanese manufacturer has been gaining ground in the British hire market as contractors increasingly specify compact lifting solutions for restricted-access projects.
