Dynapac has introduced its first fully electric large asphalt paver to the European market, marking a significant shift in road construction equipment electrification. The Swedish manufacturer's battery-powered machine aims to eliminate diesel emissions on paving sites while maintaining the output capacity of conventional large-class pavers. The launch follows growing regulatory pressure across European cities to reduce construction site emissions, with several metropolitan areas already restricting diesel equipment in urban zones. Dynapac has not yet disclosed technical specifications including battery capacity, operating runtime, or charging infrastructure requirements for the new model.
