Volvo Construction Equipment has completed the world's first building demolition using only electric machines. The Swedish manufacturer deployed its electric excavators and wheel loaders for the pilot project, which ran entirely emission-free on site. The project demonstrates that zero-emission demolition work is technically feasible with current battery technology.
