Swedish tiltrotator specialist Engcon and Japanese construction equipment manufacturer Takeuchi have expanded their strategic partnership to include factory-installed integration. For the first time, Engcon tiltrotator systems will be fitted at the works to Takeuchi's compact TB 295 W wheeled excavator, eliminating post-delivery retrofitting and associated downtime. The move reflects a broader industry trend towards OEM-level attachment integration, reducing commissioning complexity for contractors while ensuring optimised hydraulic and control system compatibility from day one. Factory installation typically cuts site preparation time by up to two days compared with dealer-level retrofits, a significant advantage for fleet operators working to tight project schedules.
