German crane manufacturer Paus has presented the PTK 31 evo E, its first battery-electric trailer crane. The model expands the existing PTK series with an emission-free variant for use in city centers and sensitive areas. While competitors like Merlo are already active in the field of electrified compact cranes, Paus is positioning itself in the growing e-mobility segment for mobile lifting equipment. Technical details regarding battery capacity, load capacity, and range had not yet been communicated at the time of the announcement.
