The Linz-based machinery manufacturer Rubble Master sold all exhibited mobile crushing plants at a US trade show. All devices went to customers before the end of the fair – a success that demonstrates strong demand in the North American recycling market. The company from Linz has specialized in recent years in mobile, compact processing technology.
Rubble Master operates in the USA primarily with impact crushers and screening systems. These impact crushers are designed for use directly on construction sites: demolition material is crushed on-site, classified, and can subsequently be resold as recycled material or reused directly. The plants can be transported on flatbed trucks and are operational within hours – a decisive advantage for construction contractors who rely on rapid transshipment points and flexible material cycles.
The US market for mobile crushers in recycling applications has been growing for years. Stricter landfill regulations and rising disposal costs make on-site recycling economically attractive. Added to this is the infrastructure boom: road repairs, bridge demolitions, and inner-city construction projects generate large quantities of concrete and asphalt debris. Those who can crush and screen these materials directly not only save landfill costs but also transport distances for new bulk materials.
Rubble Master focuses on compact design and user-friendliness. The plants operate with hydraulic drive, feature radio remote control, and can often be operated by a single person. This reduces labor costs – an important factor in a tight US labor market where machine operators are hard to find. Technical details such as throughput capacity, final crushing grain size, and screening surface capacity are tailored by the manufacturer to customer needs.
The complete sales rate at the trade show is more than just a sales success. It demonstrates that Rubble Master has precisely met market needs: mobility, quick commissioning, easy maintenance, and direct amortization through material savings. The Austrian manufacturer competes in the USA with established providers but relies on specialization rather than breadth. The strategy is working – especially where urban construction sites have no room for stationary systems.
Whether Rubble Master will expand its production capacity following this success remains open. The US market is considered a growth market, but supply chains also remain tight. For construction contractors, the sales success means above all one thing: demand for mobile recycling solutions remains high – and those who invest in processing technology now will benefit from rising material prices and declining landfill costs.
