Under the motto "Do more with less", the Wirtgen Group will present six market premieres from November 24-27, 2026 at Bauma China in Shanghai. One third of the exhibits are new products – with a focus on road milling machines, road pavers, compaction and digital solutions. In parallel, the group is inviting visitors to an exclusive recycling event at the Customer Training Center in Taicang.

W 215 P: Large-scale milling machine with 2,000 mm width and automatic process control

The centerpiece of the Wirtgen premiere is the W 215 P, a new cold milling machine with a 2,000 mm milling width and a maximum milling depth of 330 mm. In automatic mode, the integrated machine control system MILL ASSIST continuously optimizes the ratio between performance and costs. Three selectable working strategies allow the milling process to be specifically aligned with costs, performance or quality – an advantage for operators who use the machines in different applications.

Also new from the Wirtgen portfolio: the Rock Crusher WRC 240i. The machine is designed for "white-to-black" road rehabilitation, where old concrete pavements are broken up and reused on site – a procedure that is widely used in Chinese cities and on trunk roads.

Vögele: SUPER 3000-3i flagship and MT 3000-3 Li material feeder

Vögele is introducing two new machines to China: the SUPER 3000-3i tracked paver and the mobile material feeder MT 3000-3 Li. The SUPER 3000-3i achieves a paving width of up to 18 m and a paving capacity of 1,800 t/h – making it the flagship in the Vögele paver portfolio. Thanks to an innovative material feeding concept that allows simultaneous height adjustment of the conveyor belt and auger, the machine can lay both thin surface layers and frost protection layers up to 50 cm thick.

The MT 3000-3 Li combines reliable technology with high operator comfort and facilitates seamless, vibration-free material transfer to the paver – a decisive factor for consistent paving quality on large road construction projects.

Hamm: Tandem rollers with vibration and oscillation for faster, gentler compaction

Compaction specialist Hamm is introducing the HD 138 – HD 148 series, an entire family of new tandem rollers for the Chinese market. In both weight classes, variants are available with two vibrating drums or with a combination of vibration and oscillation. All models are equipped with the HAMMTRONIC management system, which optimizes engine power, compaction performance and operating comfort.

Particularly versatile: the HD 138 VO, which combines vibration and oscillation to enable fast and material-friendly compaction – ideal for temperature-sensitive asphalt mixtures or when compacting over utility lines.

  • HD 138 VO: Tandem roller with vibration and oscillation drum
  • HC 200 G: 20-ton compactor, specially developed for Southeast Asia, with up to 331 kN compaction force
  • HC 268i VC (Vibration Crusher): Compacts and crushes material in one pass – usable in earthmoving and recycling

The HC 268i VC will be shown on the exhibition stand in combination with the Wirtgen Rock Crusher WRC 240i as a production system. The special feature: the roller has a special drum with 126 quick-change tool holders that can be equipped with different picks depending on the application. This allows material to be crushed and compacted – without changing machines.

WGInsight 2.0: Digital fleet management with real-time monitoring and cost analysis

In the Tech Zone of the exhibition stand, the focus is on digitalization. The Wirtgen Group presents WGInsight, a digital platform specially developed for the Chinese market for remote management of machines. It includes real-time monitoring, safety management and maintenance coordination.

With the latest update to WGInsight 2.0, new features are added:

  • Work logs and usage reports
  • Maintenance cost management
  • Multidimensional data analysis

For fleet managers, this means: better overview of machine deployment and operating costs – and thus starting points for continuous optimization. Practical application examples will be demonstrated at the exhibition stand.

Exclusive recycling event in Taicang: Ciber iNova 2000 asphalt mixing plant as premiere

For the first time, the Wirtgen Group is inviting trade fair visitors to a parallel off-show event. Those who register at the exhibition stand can visit Wirtgen China's regional center in Taicang. There, the group will present its recycling equipment – including the market premiere of the Ciber iNova 2000 asphalt mixing plant. In addition to live demonstrations, there will be technical presentations on recycling technologies and the opportunity to discuss application cases with Wirtgen experts in a small group setting.

The event is aimed at companies that want to increasingly focus on the reuse of reclaimed materials in road construction – whether for cost reasons, due to limited landfill capacity, or because of stricter sustainability requirements.

What does this mean for the Chinese market?

China is one of the largest sales markets for road construction machinery worldwide. The Wirtgen Group is using three levers with its new products: automation in machine control (MILL ASSIST, HAMMTRONIC), combined processes (crushing and compacting in one operation) and centralized digital fleet management. Especially in a market with high cost pressure and increasing demands on construction quality, such systems can make a difference.

Visitors can find the Wirtgen Group stand in Hall E1, Stand E1.510.110. Bauma China takes place from November 24-27, 2026 in Shanghai. Registration for the recycling event in Taicang is possible at the exhibition stand.
